Although the weather could be better, work could be easier, things could be cheaper...I dig everything!

I have been working with great man today.

When I came back home I found out a package for me. It was in a bin. Postman left it there for me!
You probably don't know that great feeling when you actually take something out of your bin...

Hania, Ewa, Monciak and I, we watched a movie together. The phrase to be remembered is 'Prune the fruit trees'...

Oh Yeah!

'Tell me why! I do like mondays! Tell me why! I do like mondaeeeys!'
Great day at work (but you may not care about that...). And and an adventure while on my way back home. I was doing some shopping in one of the major superhipermegas when I met that girl. Actually I didn't really meet her. She was just there. I was to pass her in the doors where she was struggling with that huge amount of these things and bags, when she asked me for help. And it was that natural. There was laughing and fun. While we were carrying all this 'stuff' to the bus stop she kept repeating 'this is madness!', and I was like 'this is fun'. I was laughing all the way. And it occurred that we were to travel with the same bus...And that moment when we got off the bus and she didn't exactly knew where her house was so she asked me 'Do you know where the Brooklyn is?'. And I was like 'It's in New York' (What the?!). And she meant 'Do you know where the Brooklyn (Street) is?'... It was fun...

No sleep till!!!

Leisure, relax and fun. The weekend was great! Although I stayed in (again...) on saturday. Sunday was great. Long sleep, some visitors in the morning (hehe!) then capoeira with mates! Tuff tuff tuff!

Evening with Ewa and Hania. We watched Azuloscurocasinegro. A film-gift from Anita.

What do you think about this type of webistes? Guess it is useful if you want to review what you have seen, or find out the other films by the same director or with same cast (that's what I find useful about it) but plot reading is not for me...(Guess that I should rephrase the question to: 'What do you think about the plot reading before watching a film?')
When I want to see a movie I want to see it without knowing what will happen. In this case film poster is enough for me...
And you?

Poster comes from great internet repository impawards.

It arrived today! It may be funny but I will not listen to it until I get me a turntable! Whoa!

If you are going to be in Katowice these days you have to visit Galeria Szyb Wilson and Jazz Club Hipnoza! Squarepusher's concert in that space is a must! 'Another dimension' gets a new meaning!

I met Luis today. He arrived from Madrid last week. Tried to help him to help himself. Guess that I was as 'savage' as he when I arrived to Hull. It all gets a different dimension when you consider that I am reading 'Brave New World' again and again and again and again...

This day was crucial. For couple of reasons. I went for a viewing of an apartment. I decided to take it. Then I was late for work but got a new understanding of my workplace. I am getting used to my future role. Though I still don't feel that confident in it as I would like to, I am beginning to understand what is it all about. I also start to understand what are the others' perceptions about me. It's kinda' funny because I don't like what most of the people think about me and I keep repeating to myself that 'appearances are deceiving'. Thinking of myself I am slowly starting to be more down to earth and realistic. More pragmatic you could say. This is a great experience because I find out a lot of new truths about myself and what is most important for me I am starting to challenge my self-perception. I am going through changes. And I like it. Guess that the maturity begins...

Later in the evening I found couple of mice (Ewa is really afraid of mice and I had to take care of it).

During the training I made myself a bruise on my chin. Looks a little bit funny.

Sometimes I wonder to myself where do I get this drive and energy and willingness to do good from.
I would like to thank my Mother here since she is the only explanation I can find.

Athough when I made this picture I hadn't heard the Squarepusher himself I was aware who whe was. I always thought that it was he whom I had painted.

When I was leaving Poland I thought to myself: 'Yeah now that I am going away Squarepusher or AFX shall come to us and play'. And I was right...

I have never heard his whole album while at home. Now I am looking forward to his new album. Sealed and posted. Just a souvenir...

Though I will not enjoy listening to him with my mates in Poland I decided I want to try him here in UK.

What kind of experience will it bring to me?

Let me show you the door...I would like you to leave now...

I heard this words today from a letting agent. I went to the agency to complain about the 'misleading' information on their web-site. It was a great lesson. Let's review it.
According to some basic marketing rules:
Client is always right. (The agent told me that I was wrong).
It is good to say sorry to the client more times than it is needed (I didn't hear sorry. Instead I heard the words written above).
The agent suggested that 'there are other companies' (great advertisements for the competitors).
I was verbally forced to leave the bureau (one unsatisfied customer is like...).
The company doesn't update the information on its website (great quality of information provided by the company has 'positive' effect on the standard of services...).

So...What I have learned? Because I have learned something.

When dealing with customers forget about your ego. You are there to help them. The quality of information is essential. Don't promise what you can't deliver. Be ethical. Know your budget. And if you are a customer ask, ask, ask.

Let's try to negotiate! Ah! Let's try to negotiate!

Great day it was! Had a review with my tutor. And mixed 'free' with 'sugar free'(ask me if you want to know more...). This will have some serious implications soon (I will probably be investigated by the Police).
Each day you learn something new. And I have repaired the toilet seat today.

...the importance of working bathroom is obvious...

Two days training. During the night we went out to the Tap and Tumbler. That was something completely different. I have enjoyed couple of good pints, bitter and pale. Later, during the conversation with the owner of the Pub I found out that that wasn't the best idea. She told me that when you are going to pub you should decide what you're going to drink and drink it all night, whether this are spirits, wine or beer. We discussed about the anti-tobacco campaign.
My conclusion was:

It is not about 'smoker' or 'non-smoker'. It is about 'where the smoke is'.

Today I felt like a child. Altough I am aware that I am still learning I felt like deprived of reasoning. And it's not the most pleasant feeling. It is interesting that most people tend not to understand you when they find out that you are not a native speaker...

Growing strong!
