It was a very nice day...I went to Britannia House and finalised my application for National Insurance number. Sat on a bench, watched the sky. Ate lunch. Returned to work. I was happy and smiling. Learned something new.

I am moving in to Ewa's house. I think it will be fun. For both of us (shall I write three...). Will try to rent a flat this month (but have to say that I like the idea of living with Eva and Monciak).

Thinking about the Open University...Try to find something for me.

Today's comic strip is complement to the video.

Nevermind what's been selling it's what you're buying and receiving...

Hmmm...Organize...Make it work...Economize...Turn the cog...End of day...Who's it for???Coumputers and carnivores...

Walking the UK pavements and becoming a consumer I am wondering about the whole purpose of it...And I am in doubts. Living in a society which is driven by economic factors is I would say an extreme experience. You might say that all societies are regulated by their economies but British people are really consumed by their consumption. How to stay yourself in it? How to define yourself the other way than by the goods you consume? Truly challenging question.
I feel that it is about the decisions you make but still most of them are about what you're buying.
Do you buy that?

Yep. Another week has gone... This weekend I am going to prepare myself for relocation. I will have to leave my lovely hotel with such a good food and move to unknow place (since I haven't found a flat yet...). Hull is becoming more vibrant. Guess that's because the students are coming back from the holidays. Seems to me that I will like this city. So! Situation isn't as bad as you would think. It's worse! American crisis has not influenced the house market in UK yet and prices are still stable. Hopefully I will arrange myself a nice venue this or next month. Guess that should be my priority. But you know when the weekend comes...

Today I made an appointment in Job Centre. Gonna get me NIN.
Gradually I am getting deeper into Hull's live. Superficial elements fall away. There is funk in the town!

Yeah!!!
We all have them, we all love them, we all solve them.
Lots of fun with my own. Even more when we together find solutions to yours.

Are you inspired by your own problems?

Altough there still are some tough things I will have to confront with...All right?

People in the UK live in a constant fear. Invigilated by their own neighbours. Always on the monitor. Afraid about their cars, their mortgage, their outcomes. You have to make a decision. And it's not about to be or not to be.

Still looking for a flat...Went to see one today...Its only advantage is that it is located in the center of the city. But I am still considering it as an option. Though I would have to paint it and refurnish. That however could be a great opportunity to release some good energy. Monday going to see another one.

FLAT! (beat)

Situation in USA no matter what you say, has an impact on our lives. The economy is not that pink. In the States the presidential show enters its final stage. And when I say show I mean it! How to make a politician appealing? Guess that your Mama wouldn't know what to say!

Today fruitful day at work. Went running. What is the best way to improve your skills? Play with others! That's why I would like to enrol to design classes. In Spring semester.

How to disappear completely in UK? Don't have phone, permanent address, bank accounts, loyalty cards? You're non-existent.

Do you know what drives the British economy? It's the fact that almost every store here closes at 5.30 pm. People have to run to get what they want (even if they don't really want it). Pressure applied (demand, demand, demand). And it is harder to bargain when you're running, you know what I mean?
Guess that is why the IT is essential here. Dot.coms' crisis in USA caused a deep recession. Then the 'crunch' came. Assume that the energy resources or main (re)serve(r)s in UK went down...That would be a tragedy for the whole society here.
Internet means access to the information, comparisons, shops, people and so forth...
Yeah...guess I need some work out and sweat it all out...
