S/N started as a concert/happening exploring the idea of interaction in music and the role of an artist/audience. The idea was to confront the participants of the event with sonic output from two sources: analog drums and computer running max/msp patches plugged into analog looper, mixer and old eltron speaker, and document how the audience interacts with noise.

It was an effort to answer the question whether music has any limits and if it has where are these?

When noise becomes music and how can that happen?

At the beginning of the event every participant was given a special instruction encouraging him/her to record it.

Event took place on the 11th November 2010 in Klubokawiarnia Przedświt, Katowice.

"DISQUE"

"RAYON"

Two works of a friend of mine, Maria Prochaczek. I selected both from a series of her artworks in which she studies the topic of movement, flow and the rhythm.
Titles are my interpretations of her work.
