KATO
SILENT SOUNDS FROM RADIO

Today I played second concert in KATO bar. This performance was different from the previous one in its shape, because I decided to use radio signal as one of the inputs.
Some hardware limits made it impossible to play according to what I had planned beforehand, so I had to improvise. I gained some self-confidence and am quite happy with what I created ad hoc. I realised that for some of the listeners the idea of mixing the external signal coming from a person who is in a remote location (in this example it was radio signal, but I also experiment with internet broadcast) is a new sound experience. I find it quite rewarding for myself that I could share this idea with the listeners.
