What a week! I was feeling like going mental at work...Stress...stress...stress...Learning how to cope with it. And I think I am 'doing' better each day.

Great gig yesterday. Met many new, interesting people. Been to new, interesting places. Becoming part of the community. Finding my own way.

Hunting for those tiny treasures...

Electricity sorted out. There is hot water and heating as well. Warm and cosy. No electricity in the bathroom though. I have overlooked something, probably. Will double-check that.

Day by day all my documents and belongings get better organized and it gives me more space and freedom.

It's a great feeling when you know what you're doing and it is coming back to me.

WHOA!!! My own new flat!!!
I moved in yesterday. First night was hard and cold (sleeping on a floor under my jacket...yeah!!!).
Still there are some things I have to sort out (water, heating, electricity...) gradually I will organize it. The flat is massive! Already thinking how I am going to furnish it! Hehe! This day gave me a lot of confidence. Feels like home!!!

I know what to do!!! Yeah!!!

We don't have to worry
Life goes where it does
Faster than a bullet
From an empty gun
Turn yourself over
Loose change we could spend
Grinding down diamonds
Round, round, round the bend
People pushing harder
Up against themselves
Make their daggers sharper
Than their faces tell
Babe, its your time now
Loose change we could spend
Where we are going
Round, round, round the bend

Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way.

Historical day! First performance of Kingston Capoeira! Vanessa, Gary, Alex, Rafał, person x and I!!!We showed some moves and had small Roda during the day for promotion of different cultures at the Lamp.

Although I am quite stressed about the exam and so on I think I am going to pass it. I try to relax, chill out and gain a new perspective on all this stuff. Am looking forward to this week because there are some things, like renting a flat, that I want to finalize.

Am going to ask Chris (my tutor) to move me to another pharmacy for a day or so, so that I could benefit from an experience in a different location. During this week I will also have to undergo a chat about my future holidays. I want to go to Poland in January for a week (guess after New Years Eve).

I am still struggling (with myself mainly) to rent a flat. I made some mistakes initially and now I am paying for it. What I've learned is mine (hope that the price of this experience will not turn out to be unbearable at the end of the day)...

Today I set up a budget for this month. This is how I did it (things that I summed up)
1. the bond and the rent (large sum it is...)
2. the estimated council tax
3. browsed the net for an estimate of cost of water, sewage and electricity (there are some calculators as well: water calculator, energy calculator, there are also some bright ideas how to save the resources e.g. hippo) And finally there is a site that will count my CO2 footprint and at the same time will somehow force me to read my meters imeasure
4. tried to oversee the heating costs (it's winter...)
5. allocated the assets that I am going "to eat". To put it simply, these are the money I will spent on the food (I have been keeping a record of all my spendings in KMyMoney so I am able to foresee some spendings.

This doesn't end the list, there are some other costs that I've predicted. However, I had safeguarded some assets to cover them as well. And it looks like my budget is well balanced! But this is a theory. Now the fun begins and it has to be checked in practice!
