LIGHTLOOP is my new music project. I have created a myspace profile. It still needs some tweeking however. I will try to upgrade it during this week. Meanwhile you can enjoy the first uploaded recording. A sketch of future directions. It is a down-tempo journey into noise territories. You can hear the analog background cause it has been recorded on audio cassette. To be listened on headphones (the quality is low...I have to master the recording skills...I know...) in early morning or late night. The structure is very long!!! So it may feel a little bit monotonous...(hope it won't). However I needed to do it that way to entrance the listener. Hope you'll find some resonant frequencies...

where can i hear it...?
click on the LIGHTLOOP (it will take you to myspace site) alternatively use the lightloop link in RIGHTS(LINKS)
here it goes...
in Your music
i see an ugly-hot day on a desert, dry mouth,
wide screen, something like "fear and loathing in Las Vegas" mood...
I start to walk, hot sand, my feet hurts, very exhausting journey,
sun's shining so bright it hurts my eyes.
it's hard to walk.
I want to find THE WELL.
and all i can hear is
this beat-pulse of blood in my veins.
faster and faster
i'm trying to walk in this tempo.
i'm running
feels like somebody is chasing me
something
sun
then i stop.
a sudden cold wind at 10:00
i look around
11:20
fall on my knees
scarabs are dancing on me
and before my eyes
they're streching their legs,
telling me a story
and how they hate cicadas
(it's too long story to write it down)
i notice that i can't move
i lay down and pray that there are no spiders on deserts
it all ends at 16 20
i am not hearing beat-pulse, it's just an echo
it's torn and undefined
last thing i see at 18:05
is this little silver-dressed scarab
drinking beer on my nose
and laughing untill my dry end at 20:40
and then it starts again...
nice track to do art while listenig :)
thanks for sharing those 26 minutes
ps: oh... and vultures at 24:45!
oh...and amazing picture of course.
keep me amazed!
and parallel to one of my favourite movies...
pro:me:us i want to thank You for introducing me to "Music Has the Right to Children" album.
First song i heard today was Turquoise Hexagon Sun, and i really like it...
new horizons on my travels around sounds.
and yes we've made a full circle.
this is one of the essential albums for me...it's one I grew up with...I would say it is a 'sensibility-changing' album...by sensibility I mean 'the ability to sense, feel or perceive; especially to be sensitive to the feelings of another'...should be listened with someone close to you...preferably in horizontal pozition...when there is no time to hurry to...
hah, You're bad.
and punched weak point of mine.
I was very sensitive to the feelings of another 'till i got kick in my ass you know.
so i rather to be careful now in beeing sensitive.
I just prefere to behave as a Viking just to not get kicked again.
so summing up
i have to listen to it alone
but thanks for a clue...
...I really would like to go deeper with it and ask couple of questions...but I won't...;]...
you know somehow I have already achieved something very valuable for me...that very important thought...probably you will remember me in the context of Boards of Canada or you will remember the Boards of Canada in context of me...
and yes...I'm bad...but not Michael...
and speaking of points...I hope that the one I've punched starts with a letter "G"...
now You're really starting to rip me to pieces :)
i think for sure i will remember Boards of Canada in the context of You, and for sure i will remember You in the context of teaching me about different interesting things that surrounds You.
You know i just love to see how other people see things, shapes around them, and ask myself: is he/she blind?! or :will i ever be able to see what he/she sees there?
hell yeah Michael was bad in early days, but knowing that You're not him- that's good. World doesn't need another M.J.
and nice one...the point You've punched doesn't start with a letter G, but i'm sure You will punch it soon with your "psycho-language-i'm brilliant" speeches.
and i don't mean that You think You're brilliant.
I mean that i think You're brilliant,
well in some way of course,
don't want to be too good for You...
Funny remark...My initials are J.W.G.
(First, second, surname)...
I've been trying to show you something useful ('in the context of teaching me about different interesting things') but there seems to be a problem with publishing it in the comments box here...I will either try to publish it as a commment on your blog or as a new post to my blog...(:
You mean thing about Amon Tobin?
You've already made me go and search the web for his music, he is a monster indeed, genius, gorgeous, i'm ashamed i haven't know about him earlier.
You really are my teacher in music-world from now , so be prepared...
i can't pay You the right price for the knowledge though, but i can thank You , and i do thank You very very muchos gracias.
Jazz&Abstract is my favourite for now. It reminds me of good old track from Twinpeaks, when dwarf was dancing.
Speaking of Twin Peaks...I would like to see the whole serie again...I remember watching it with my Mother and sister...Strangely I remember those moments as one of the best moments in my life!!! Probably becuase we were watching it together...and what's interesting I remember a cosy mood...warmth of family house...I do not remember the fear or other negative emotions...it's like the shocking views of the movie were tangled with childish feeling of safety...(like in Clockwork Orange)...When I am trying to remember it I can see myself as a child and I can understand how I have changed over the years...I think that it was one of those moments when my self-conscioussness was starting to kick-in...
...I would prefer more mutual relation...so let's together be students and let the music be our teacher...
dobry pomysł
